Welcome

So...

Here we are, a little over three weeks to go before my wife and I finish packing all our worldly belongings into a 10x20 storage unit and opt to live out of a backpack for four months. As I'm sure many of you have heard (mainly because I can't stop talking about it), we are traveling around the world starting in December. This technically starts with a trip to Alaska to visit friends for the holidays where we then move down to Mexico for a vacation and begin (in earnest) with one long-ass flight to Australia.

I'll post the full itinerary next time I'm on here but, for now, the travel places are as follows:

Sydney, Brisbane, the Hamilton Islands (Great Barrier Reef), Melbourne, Bangkok, Phuket, Athens, (other Greek islands tba), Rome, Milan, Venice, Pompeii, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Glasgow.

Of course there are many other places we are going in the in-between of these places but I figure you'll know about them when we get there :)

That being said:

I invite you to join us along the road. I will post photos and news and updates as we begin this trip. I hope this site will provide a forum for sharing this unique experience with any and all who share my desire for adventure or who simply want to see whatever cool thing we are seeing at the time.
